The Sun And Vitamin D

One of the side effects of our culture’s obsession with the evils of the sun - whether it is a concern for skin cancer, or a predilection for pale skin or an attempt to avoid sun damage to the skin - is the danger of getting a vitamin D deficiency.

Anyway, it feels great spending some time in natural sunlight. I don’t know if it’s just the vitamin D, but I sure feel excellent afterwards, sans sunscreen!

Remembering My Childhood Days

When we’re still young, my dad used to bring us to various amusement parks to have some fun. After a couple of hours of playing and riding in a merry go round, we will then go to a near restaurant and have our favorite dishes ordered.

I’m a big girl now but the family fun never stops. However, the weekly activities has lessen to monthly. Today, we prefer to sit down and get caught up with each other’s life. Once in a while, we would also go out and spend some quality time together, walking in malls and still eating our favorite food.

My dad is a bit old now but the smile on his face never looks to vanish everytime time he sees us having fun and playing around. I still look back to the old days but of course, I love what we have right now.
