Stop Bitching About Global Warming And Do Something About It
March 31, 2008 on 5:11 pm | By admin | In AutosWhen people are told that global warming is a major threat to the planet, they want politicians to change their policies to do something about it, but they never want to do anything about themselves. If we had to raise taxes to stop global warming, for example, then you can bet it would not go down well.
If you want to do something YOURSELF to stop global warming, the best thing for you to do is cut back on driving fuel-hungry cars. But we have to use cars for transportation. So what can you do? Simple. Either get a more fuel efficient car, or run your car on water.
Even if you have no technical knowledge, it is easy to make your car run on water with a little time and the right tools. You won’t just be getting better mileage, but you’ll be saving the planet too.
Why Calcium Supplements Often Remain The Best Choice
March 31, 2008 on 12:14 pm | By admin | In HealthMost people don’t get enough calcium in their diet. You’ve got some people who are either lactose intolerant, or just don’t like dairy products much. And dairy products remain one of the best sources of calcium. Even though some vegetables have quite a high proportion of calcium, you usually need to eat a significant amount to get the RDA of calcium. More than most people would be willing to eat of them.
The solution for many is therefore a calcium supplement. Or even calcium enriched products. You can get soy milk enriched with calcium these days, not to mention a lot of other groceries. But calcium supplements are a reliable source of calcium, as you can make sure you get the minimum your body needs to keep your bones and teeth strong.
Favorite Modern Chair Styles
March 31, 2008 on 9:10 am | By admin | In HomeModern furniture has been around for a long time. I was amazed when I learned that one of my favorite chairs, the Barcelona Chair, was designed way back in 1929. I find it hard to believe that the style is just a fresh today as it was back then. That’s the beauty of the iconic stylish modern chairs and one thing that make them so popular. These are modern styles that look as fresh today as they did when they were designed. Some of the iconic stylish pieces are the Barcelona Chair and ottoman, the Eames Chair and ottoman, the Womb chair and the Platner armchair.
Chrome bath faucets are the business
March 31, 2008 on 4:11 am | By admin | In HomeI really do love my bathtub, because I spent a lot of money on it and it is the centerpiece of my bathroom, the thing that everybody notices whenever they go in there. However, I noticed a few months ago that the faucets really needed to be replaced, and after looking at various websites and various designs I decided that is that a set of Chrome Bath Faucets would probably be the best choice for me because they would fit in with the modern style of the bathtub in the bathroom overall. I’m really glad I chose chrome as a material now, because my bathroom really has come to life since I have installed those faucets.
The Benefits of Vitamin C
March 30, 2008 on 5:10 pm | By admin | In HealthPeople have got to take vitamins today to stay healthy. Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin which means that the body uses what it needs and discards the rest. Your body does not store this vitamin. That is why sometimes after taking vitamins, when you go to the bathroom, you will notice that your urine is a bright yellow. This is a good sign showing you that your body has taken and used all of the Vitamin C that it needs and then discarded the rest. However you need to constantly take this vitamin because your body does not store it. Vitamin C is extra helpful for our immune systems and warding off colds.

Time management techniques: just do it
March 30, 2008 on 7:11 am | By admin | In BusinessManaging your time effectively means learning to manage yourself. You need to learn how to deal with the various tasks that need to be done both now and in the future. I find that almost all tasks can go into one of four categories for workable time management techniques. I call them the four Ds of self management. They are: Do it – This means the tasks must be dealt with immediately and it can only be done by you alone. It is best to schedule to complete these at the earliest opportunity. Delegate it – You don’t need to do everything yourself. If a task isn’t the best use of your time get someone else to do it. Dump it – Many things are simply not worth doing. If so, dump them. Defer it – If something needs doing but you don’t have to do it straight away, you should defer it.

Camping necessities
March 29, 2008 on 6:09 pm | By admin | In BusinessI haven’t been camping in a while, but the last time I went, my girlfriend and I were shopping for camping supplies, and she came up with something I hadn’t thought of. Portable Toilets.
I really never thought about it before… after all, if there wasn’t a portable around, it didn’t really matter much to me. There was always the campground bathroom, right? Mom always had her portable when she and I went camping. My ex wanted one too.
Well, she bought it. I guess it is different for women. I really never use the little toilets that were around when we went camping. But boy did the one she bought see some use. It turned out to be super cold, and we were both glad she’d gotten it! Next time, maybe I’ll be doing the buying.
Be careful when using images
March 29, 2008 on 3:10 pm | By admin | In TechnologyAs you will learn in any good introduction to HTML course, you need to be careful when using images on your webpages. These images must be stored as a separate “image” files, and they must be uploaded in order to display properly. When someone visits your site and views your webpages, each of these image files must be loaded so that they can be seen — and the more of them there are, the longer your webpages can take to load (particularly with a slow, dial up Internet connection). Also, image files take up much more storage space than regular text, so you should limit your use of image files to the absolute minimum.
