There are many symbols we recognize these days but there is one that stands-out more than others; the breast cancer pink ribbon. By choosing such a feminie color as pink for their symbol, the people (women most probably) wanted to make a stand that even though women have breast cancer, they are still our mothers, sisters, best friends and feminine.

The pink ribbon is easy to wear as it can go with any outfit being such a gentle and soft color. By showing your pink colors you are stating that you are suppporting such an important cause as breast cancer.

My wife has played a musical instrument all of her life. I guess that’s because her father played the clarinet and was in a band. I think about this because the other day my younger son Robert told me he wanted to get a beginner guitar dvd. He is 10 years old and wants to learn how to play guitar. My wife plays the flute and I don’t play any musical instrument whatsoever. Because of this I told my son that I would get him the DVD. Hopefully he will get something out of it and learn. Before, I was skeptical and was really not that convinced when my husband told me that we will be leaving the city and the country at that.
