Have you looked at the pictures in travel brochures. I am sure you have and compared them to what is being said about the vacation paradise or resort being advertised. I had always thought that publicity photography was about taking pictures of individuals to establish an image. It was much later in my career that I learned different. I spent the next two years traveling and taking pictures of vacation spots and selling those pictures to the companies. The whole idea is to establish visual proof to people that will seduce them into choosing to visit those places rather than some place else.
