I Have To Sale My Car
April 18, 2009 on 11:00 am | By admin | In Autos | No CommentsI don’t know if it was pure luck or whether I hit on something useful but the paper listed my car as ‘sale my car’ in our local paper. I think the young guy taking the call misunderstood me, I had said, “I want to put my car up for sale, how much would an ad cost with your paper?” The line was bad and I repeated the first part of the request and eventually he seemed to have gotten the message and said he would get the listing in the evening paper. ‘Sale My Car’ appeared and it certainly attracted a lot of interest; my phone was ringing constantly the next day and after the fourth viewing, it was sold!
