Transfer Warranty

She is at that age where it be really handy for both of us if she could start driving herself places and take me out of the middle of her errands. I am considering giving her my car and I will buy a new one. I had already decided to buy an extended warranty on my current car but I wonder if that will be transferable if I give my daughter the car. Should I just keep the car in my name so I know that she has coverage on the car.
