In recent years the van like the red squirrel has been in decline throughout the UK with many a tradesman turning from his Ford or Vauxhall van to a fancy 4×4 pickup like the Mitsubishi L200. The reason for this was to fold the tax breaks being offered and the fact that you can get away with using an L200 for domestic use as well as business. Now though the tax breaks are gone and if you live in the city of London with the emissions zone a new van can actually cost you less in tax due to improved emissions.
