Anyone Who Knows What Is Selling Short?

I would swear that this is one thing I never would bother people if it was something I can manage understanding by my self. Oh some technical stuff really makes my nose bleed. A friend told me to get a grip but then what is tougher knows that you just left a puzzle unsolved. Well, knowing what is selling short really? I have been buzzing a lot of people already because I do not get a grip what is selling short is. What is selling short really? I am not really sure yet, but then, things can get well and someday I will understand it with some more effort.
