This is because you will probably have to work weekends — a lot of them, or perhaps all of them. Gone will be the days when you could enjoy a leisurely Saturday or Sunday at home — and the situation may not be temporary: you may have to serve in this capacity for at least several years, before you will have the opportunity to move on to a position that offers better hours of employment. Weigh the benefits against the sacrifices carefully — ask yourself if you are ready to make the change.
