Diverticulitis May Not Need Colon Cancer Surgery

January 29, 2008 on 8:14 am | By admin | In Health | No Comments

Many people have a problem with diverticulitis and don’t actually realize it.  This is because this particular disease does not necessarily carry any noticeable symptoms, such as discomfort or rectal bleeding and it can’t be detected by a blood test.  There may be some cramping or bloating, however, which would tip you to the fact that there is this particular disease going on in your body. Colon Cancer Surgery to treat diverticulitis is rare as the disease is typically treated with antibiotics, stool softeners or abscess drainage.
