There are different types of cancer found in the lungs. One of the most dreaded Types Of Lung Cancer is the Metastatic lung cancer. It is the result of a cancer from another part of the body spreading to the lungs.

It is very difficult to treat. This is because, not only the cancer in the lungs has to be treated, but the original cancer has to be treated as well. Usually chemotherapy is considered as the preferred treatment option. However in some cases, the original tumor can be removed surgically and after that a surgery can be done to remove the lung metastases.
