The lemonade diet has been around for a long time, over fifty years.  It was written by Stanley Burroughs as part of his Master Cleanse.  This lemonade diet review tells you a little more about it.  Some people think the lemonade diet is a very low calorie fast.  It is not.  It is a liquid diet, consisting of a drink that is made fresh and contains freshly squeezed lemon juice, grade b maple syrup, and cayenne pepper.  It is also not really a diet but an internal cleanse to help a person rid their bodies of toxins most of us ingest daily as part of the processed foods and over the counter or prescription drugs many of us take.
