The most obvious sign might be something along the lines of finding spent beer cans or other empty or filled alcoholic beverages among a person’s personal items where you would normally not expect to find things of that nature. For example, if you discovered a bunch of alcoholic beverages or liquor bottles underneath someone’s bed, you might become curious as to why they would hide them there. Additionally, if the person is someone who is underage, this should send up the red warning flags. If you happen to be looking for something from a co-worker’s space at work and discover liquor bottels tucked away in a drawer, then this is also reasonable grounds for being concerned about the welfare of your co-worker.
