Ways to Cope and Overcome Depression

There are many simple ways to cope and overcome depression.  Buy and prepare your favorite healthy treat and this will improve your outlook. Take a stroll or jog or go fishing to build up back your confidence.  Make some friend or kin happy with a little help, a thoughtful token, or even just a candid smile.  Go to the nearest village,  live with the poor and do something extraordinary for them like assisting them in their daily struggles. This will get your mind off your loneliness and enlighten your soul.  This will also allow us to reflect deeper on the meaning of our lives and discover more profound things we did not know. Make a list of the small things you have to do and accomplish.  Make yourself practically busy by tending the garden, digging the weeds, doing carpentry, masonry and repainting jobs. Compose a song or a poem. You may not feel like actually doing anything or finishing a task but give yourself a try and gradually, in the process realize life is just great!
