Why Calcium Supplements Often Remain The Best Choice

Most people don’t get enough calcium in their diet. You’ve got some people who are either lactose intolerant, or just don’t like dairy products much. And dairy products remain one of the best sources of calcium. Even though some vegetables have quite a high proportion of calcium, you usually need to eat a significant amount to get the RDA of calcium. More than most people would be willing to eat of them.

The solution for many is therefore a calcium supplement. Or even calcium enriched products. You can get soy milk enriched with calcium these days, not to mention a lot of other groceries. But calcium supplements are a reliable source of calcium, as you can make sure you get the minimum your body needs to keep your bones and teeth strong.
