Help with my cable lighting kits

I purchased cable lighting kits a couple of weeks ago when I was feel very ambitious about redecorating our family room. My husband has given me an ultimatum and said that I either need to put the new system up or take it back. I’m just not sure I can do it myself and he works too much to be much of a help to me. Is it really as easy and the instructions make it out to be to install the kit? Or am I better of returning it to the store?
