Teach your puppy that biting is unacceptable behavior

The last thing you want is for your new puppy to destroy your new Jimmy Choo pumps. Biting is a normal behavior for puppies because they use their mouths to investigate new and exciting things. However, you must train your puppy to become aware of its own bite inhibition as early as possible. One of the best ways for the puppy to learn how to control its biting is from the reaction it gets from other pets and people. Over-exaggerate the pain from your puppy’s bite to teach it that that is unacceptable behavior.
