When you think about it what is the most incredible honor than to receive a gift from someone that etches their thoughts into gold or silver or even platinum? When we think about other people and how they think of us we have an intangible concept of what that is. When we read a message on jewelry the thing is the person who put it there put some time and energy into writing it. When they finally came to a decision as to what to have inscribed you can bet it was their best concept of what they think of you or what would make you smile.
