Describing Mormons

October 4, 2009 on 11:46 pm | By admin | In Reference | No Comments

There was an article about our church a while back and I can’t remember which magazine it was, but they portrayed the mormon religion to look like we were a bunch of clones. The cover included men in women dressed in black suits, no expression on their faces, and staring straight ahead. I thought, “If you’re going to stereotype the mormon religion, at least do it right!” They should have had smiling women serving lime Jell-O salad to their ten children. That would be far less insulting to me. And the men should have had scriptures in hand or something.
