How To Solve ActiveX Errors

June 30, 2008 on 10:18 am | By admin | In Technology

ActiveX is a COM programming language that allows certain programs to be embedded for use in other programs.  For example, having a media player on a website run from Internet Explorer.  ActiveX entries are stored in the Windows registry, and often the registry tends to get cluttered and corrupted.  The best way to prevent excess files causing ActiveX errors is to use a registry cleaner.

If you want to fix ActiveX errors then I suggest first running a scan with RegCure to see if your problem might be related to the Windows registry.  The registry is complex and complicated, and you really have to know what you’re doing before going in there and tinkering around.  You can easily damage your computer if you don’t take the proper precautions.
