The surveillance equipment of the future… any guess?

I can remember over the years browsing sites looking for the next gen rumors regarding “gpus” and other multimedia products that were classified but being worked on. Now, we may not be talking about the CIA technology department here, which has created things so exotic you wouldn’t even believe it if you’d see it, still we can only wonder what’s the future of surveillance equipment open for all to buy.
The easiest bet is that what is accessible only to law enforcement will eventually trickle down to the general public. Things like laser listening devices.
