Winner in Dish Network vs Direct TV DVR?

I want a DVR that can hold a ton of shows and do it reliably with good picture. Does anyone know whether Dish Network or Direct TV has a better DVR? Which one can hold more shows? Can they both be set to record entire seasons? What about all the instances of a single show (even if the show plays on multiple channels)? Is one more reliable than the other? How about the interfaces? Are they both comfortable to use? Both user-friendly? Thanks!
